Play Cultural Games ("we," "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

2. Data We Collect

When you create an account, we collect:

  • Email address
  • Username / display name
  • Game history and statistics
  • Virtual coin balance

We also collect IP addresses indirectly through our backend provider (Supabase) for security purposes. Guest users do not have accounts and we do not collect personal data from them.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • To operate your account and enable multiplayer features
  • To track in-game coin balances and achievements
  • To improve the Site via analytics (Google Analytics)
  • To detect cheating or abuse

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

  • Supabase — database and authentication hosting
  • Google Analytics — anonymous usage analytics (cookies used)
  • Netlify — website hosting

5. Cookies & Consent

We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication (keeping you signed in); these do not require consent. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) are used only if you accept them on the cookie banner shown on your first visit — analytics stay disabled until you opt in. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time:

We do not knowingly collect personal data from users under 13. Account creation requires users to be 13 or older. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

7. Your Rights

You may request to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time by contacting us. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe. You can also delete your account yourself at any time from your Account page ("Delete Account").

8. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account from your Account page, your personal data (profile, coins, stats, achievements, avatar, and favorites) is deleted immediately. Anonymous, aggregate statistics that contain no personal data (such as how many times a game has been played) are retained.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. We will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page when we do.
